Carolynn Bissett, DVM
Dr. Bissett graduated from the Virginia Maryland Regional College of Veterinary Medicine at Virginia Tech in 2004. She is currently working on her Masters Degree in Public Health, with a special interest in infectious diseases, particularly those transmitted between humans and animals.
She has always had a special interest in birds and reptiles and enjoys dentistry and perfecting oral surgery techniques.
Betty Jo Schiller, DVM
Dr. Schiller received both her undergrad and Veterinary degrees from The Ohio State University, graduating in 1976. She has been with Godspeed Animal Care since it merged with Agape Animal Care in 2001. Her special interests include avian medicine, exotics, reptiles and small mammals. She shares her home with a small menagerie of pets.
Chantal Mullins, DVM
Dr. Mullins practiced in Newport News for 23 years prior to joining Godspeed Animal Care in 2007. She received her undergraduate degree, BA with High Honors in Chemistry, in 1980 and her Veterinary Doctorate in 1983 from the University of Tennessee.
Her special interests include small mammal and feline medicine and surgery. A native French speaker who grew up in the US, France, and Germany, she loves to travel, attend art and antique shows, and taste and collect fine wines. She shares her home with her husband and cats Corton, Pommard, and Vougeot.
Pamela Dumont, DVM, CCRP, Owner
Dr. Dumont is a University of Virginia alumnus and received her Veterinary Degree in 1990 from Cornell University's College of Veterinary Medicine. Her previous careers include being a National Park Ranger, firefighter, and in retail management. With a strong commitment to continuing education, she serves on the board of directors for the Richmond Academy of Veterinary Medicine. Dr. Dumont is also certified as a Canine Rehabilitation Practitioner (CCRP) through the University of Tennessee College Of Veterinary Medicine. Her special interests include rehabilitation, laser surgery, dentistry and turtles. She shares her home with her husband Charlie, twin daughters, four dogs, five cats and a pond full of Koi.
