DVM, CCRP, Owner
A University of Virginia alumnus, Dr. Dumont received her veterinary degree in 1990 from Cornell University’s College of Veterinary Medicine. Her previous careers include National Park Ranger, firefighter, and retail manager. With a strong commitment to continuing education, she serves on the board of directors for the Richmond Academy of Veterinary Medicine. Dr. Dumont is certified as a Canine Rehabilitation Practitioner (CCRP) through the University of Tennessee College of Veterinary Medicine. Her special interests include rehabilitation, laser surgery, dentistry, and working with turtles. She shares her home with her husband, Charlie; twin daughters; three dogs; five cats; and a pond full of koi.
Betty Jo Schiller
Dr. Schiller received both her undergrad and veterinary degrees from The Ohio State University, graduating in 1976. Dr. Schiller began working as a staff veterinarian at Agape Animal Care in 1991 and has continued to work at Godspeed Animal Care since the merging in 2001. Her special interests include avian medicine, exotics, reptiles, and small mammals. She shares her home with a small menagerie of pets.
Dr. Mullins practiced in Newport News for 23 years prior to joining Godspeed Animal Care in 2007. In 1980, she received her undergraduate degree, a BA with high honors in chemistry. In 1983, she received her Veterinary Doctorate from the University of Tennessee. Dr. Mullins’ special interests include small mammal and feline medicine. A native French speaker who grew up in the United States, France, and Germany, she loves to travel, attend art and antique shows, and taste and collect fine wines. She shares her home with her husband and cats, Pommard, and Vougeot.
Dr. Cohen joined our veterinary team in September 2011. He received his undergraduate degree from James Madison University, and then his DVM from Ross University in 2003. He is a member of the American Veterinary Medical Association, the American Animal Hospital Association, the Greater Peninsula Veterinary Medical Association, and the Virginia Academy of Small Animal Medicine. Having previously practiced in Williamsburg and then in Chesapeake, Dr. Cohen returns to the Williamsburg area to continue in all aspects of general practice, with a special interest in surgical procedures, both soft tissue and orthopedic. He shares his home with his wife, 2 children and 2 dogs.
Dr. Dudley is a native of Williamsburg and is very excited to be back in the area since being away for veterinary school! She attended Ross University in St. Kitts and completed her clinical year at Virginia Tech. During her clinical year, Dr. Dudley fulfilled many of her internships here at Godspeed Animal Care. While away from the clinic, she enjoys spending time with her husband, son, two dogs, and her cat. She also enjoys hiking and traveling.
Brenda has been with the company since 1997, starting with Godspeed Mobile Vet Care and through the evolution to Godspeed Animal Care. She is married with two children and two grandchildren and has two Bull Mastiffs.
LVT, Technician Manager
Morgan earned his degree in veterinary technology while gaining hands-on experience in the veterinary clinic. He joined the Godspeed team in 2010 as the technician manager. In addition to his wife and daughter, he shares his home with three dogs and one cat. His hobbies include playing sports with various recreational leagues and attending his daughter’s sporting events and violin recitals.
