Debilitating dog arthritis and cat pain from injuries reduce the quality of your pet’s life and cause a great amount of stress for you. There is no need for your beloved animal to suffer. In addition to providing the most up-to-date pain management services, the veterinarians and staff of St. Francis Pet Resort & Rehabilitation Center and Godspeed Animal Care provide pet rehabilitation services to alleviate your dog or cat’s pain and discomfort and give you peace of mind.
Dr. Pamela Dumont, veterinarian and owner of St. Francis Pet Resort & Rehabilitation Center and Godspeed Animal Care, received her license as a Certified Canine Rehabilitation Practitioner (CCRP) through the University of Tennessee College of Veterinary Medicine. She has a keen interest in pet rehabilitation and expertly oversees our rehabilitation program.
After Dr. Dumont performs an examination of your dog or cat, she structures a program around your pet’s specific needs and lifestyle. Dr. Dumont and her veterinary assistants use a variety of tools, including an underwater treadmill, a therapeutic laser, cavaletti bars, and therapy balls. Each tool helps to enhance your pet’s quality of life.
St. Francis Pet Resort & Rehabilitation Center and Godspeed Animal Care’s services help alleviate pain in arthritic pets and animals that have recently had orthopedic or other surgeries. Additionally, rehabilitation helps overweight dogs lose and maintain a healthy weight.
