Pamela Dumont
DVM, CCRP, Medical Director
A University of Virginia alumnus, Dr. Dumont received her veterinary degree in 1990 from Cornell University’s College of Veterinary Medicine. Her previous careers include National Park Ranger, firefighter, and retail manager. With a strong commitment to continuing education, she serves on the board of directors for the Richmond Academy of Veterinary Medicine. Dr. Dumont is certified as a Canine Rehabilitation Practitioner (CCRP) through the University of Tennessee College of Veterinary Medicine. Her special interests include rehabilitation, laser surgery, dentistry, and working with turtles. She shares her home with her husband, Charlie; twin daughters; 2 dogs; four cats; and a pond full of koi.
Britt Cohen
DVM
Dr. Cohen joined our veterinary team in September 2011. He received his undergraduate degree from James Madison University, and then his DVM from Ross University in 2003. He is a member of the American Veterinary Medical Association, the American Animal Hospital Association, the Greater Peninsula Veterinary Medical Association, and the Virginia Academy of Small Animal Medicine. Having previously practiced in Williamsburg and then in Chesapeake, Dr. Cohen returns to the Williamsburg area to continue in all aspects of general practice, with a special interest in surgical procedures, both soft tissue and orthopedic. He shares his home with his wife, two children, dog, and cat.
Marti Dudley
DVM
Dr. Dudley is a Williamsburg native, and has been practicing at Godspeed since 2014. She attended undergrad at Longwood University and earned her DVM from Ross University. She enjoys all aspects of general practice, but has a special interest in preventative care. In addition to companion animals, Dr. Dudley enjoys working with wildlife. Outside of work, she enjoys spending time with her husband and their two children. She shares her home with 2 dogs, a cat and two goldfish.
Benjamin Hale
DVM, PhD
Dr. Hale moved from Vermont to Virginia in 2017, and after a year of commuting to Newport News joined Godspeed in 2018 in his newly adopted hometown of Williamsburg. He received his undergraduate degree in biology from Bowdoin College, his Ph.D. in biology studying biomechanics from Stanford University, and his DVM from Cornell University’s College of Veterinary Medicine in 2007. Dr. Hale’s special interests include neurology, Lyme nephropathy and other tick-borne diseases, and anesthesiology. His interests in infectious diseases have led him to become a member of the World Small Animal Veterinary Association and to attend several conferences abroad. Dr. Hale lives in Williamsburg with his wife and their three dogs.
Robb Murphie, Jr.
DVM, CCRP
Dr. Robb has called this area home his entire life, having grown up in Newport News. He is an SDEP® Abdomen Certified Sonographer, as well as a Certified Canine Rehabilitation Practitioner. He graduated in 2004 from the Virginia-Maryland Regional College of Veterinary Medicine, and has practiced primary care and emergency veterinary medicine throughout the Hampton Roads region, including running an animal hospital with his father. He and his wife enjoy spending time with their two daughters...who are growing up way too fast, going on hikes, getaways to the Outer Banks, and attempting to keep their cat and two beagles out of trouble. He looks forward to meeting you, and helping take care of your pets.

Kelly OConnor
CVPM, Hospital Administrator
Kelly joined Godspeed Animal Care in 2002 and has worked in many facets of the hospital. She holds a degree in computer science and was trained for canine rehabilitation at the University of Tennessee. She manages both Godspeed Animal Care and our sister company, St. Francis Pet Resort & Rehabilitation Center. She earned her certification from the Veterinary Management Institute at Colorado State University in 2014. She became a Certified Veterinary Practice Manager, CVPM, in 2019 through the Veterinary Hospital Management Association. Outside of the office, she loves to spend time with her son, a Golden Retriever and three cats.
Amee Wiscott
Kennel Manager
Amee has been at St. Francis Pet Resort & Rehabilitation Center since 2007. She is currently attending Thomas Nelson Community College and teaches aerobics classes at the YMCA. In her spare time, she enjoys running and volleyball. Amee shares her home with her husband, son and dog.
Emily McGiffin
Assistant Kennel Manager
Emily has been with the company since 2017. She grew up in rural Ohio and has always had a passion for animals of all kinds. In her free time, Emily enjoys photography and attending concerts. She lives with her husband and their 3 dogs.
